本館簡介 |
 天吉祥博物館是一家占據優越地理位置、具有豐富館藏珍品的博物館，位于歷史文化名城、世界文化遺產平遙古城內南大街北口路東20號。由著名書法家徐文達先生題寫館名。
館址系明代建筑，建筑風貌端莊大方、布局嚴謹、自然合理，為面闊六間位的二進四合院，是研究古商鋪建筑難得的活標本。清代，平遙著名貨莊長盛蔚曾設號于此。該號分莊設于山東、河南、上海等地。極盛期曾設于俄羅斯、蒙古，為晉商中一家跨國大商號。
館內設有7館14室。館藏珍品以不同歷史時期的家俱、瓷器、書法、繡品為重點。瀏覽名種材質如紫檀、紅木，花梨木桌、椅、凳、條案、架子床，必將激發熱烈而濃厚的生活情趣；品味各樣陶瓷、器皿、定會陶冶情操；觀賞書畫大師如石庵（劉墉）、癭瓢（黃慎）、徐悲鴻等傳世佳作，一準大飽眼福；至于獵奇價值邊城的花梨全螺鑲嵌落地整容鏡，更使人流連忘返。
天吉祥博物館開館不久，已接待了國內外眾多賓客。江澤惠、鄭孝燮、侯伍杰、焦炳英、史忠新、李蘇平等各級領導親臨指導，更使天吉祥博物館滿壁生輝。天吉祥將以吉祥、如意，幸福答謝海內外賓客。

Tianjixiang museum is a museum with excellent geographical location and rich collection of treasures. It is located at No. 20, east of Beikou Road, neinan street, ancient city of Pingyao, a famous historical and cultural city and a world cultural heritage. There are 7 halls and 14 rooms in the museum. The collection focuses on furniture, porcelain, calligraphy and embroidery in different historical periods.
